BareRecipe collects nothing. Your recipes, your library, and your license key stay on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, and no accounts.
None. The extension:
chrome.storage.local), which never leaves your device. The extension makes exactly one kind of network request, and only when you ask it to: when you enter a BareRecipe Pro license key, it is verified once against Gumroad's license API (api.gumroad.com). Your raw key is never stored — only a one-way hash of it is kept locally so the app can remember your Pro status offline.
Recipe extraction itself is 100% local. Web pages you visit are never sent anywhere.
activeTab / scripting — to extract the recipe from the page you are viewing when you click the extension.storage — to save your recipe library and license status locally.host_permissions (<all_urls>) — so the "View recipe" button can appear on any recipe site you visit.Questions about privacy: reply via your Gumroad purchase receipt or the Chrome Web Store listing's support contact.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with the extension update and the "Last updated" date above will change.
